Characteristics of elastic ring coupling
Elastic ring coupling is the use of rubber vulcanized bonding on the circular metal assembly, with bolts and two half coupling. The name before the revision of the standard was high elastic rubber coupling.

2 has good damping damping characteristics, can absorb part of the vibration energy, reduce the vibration amplitude when passing through the vibration point, reduce the torsion vibration stress of the shaft section.
3 can absorb and reduce the fluctuation of diesel engine output torque, for the diesel engine power device equipped with reduction gear box, can reduce the change of torque on the gear surface knock, prolong the service life of gear.
4 can compensate axis deviation, it not only has high elasticity in torsional aspect but also has elasticity in axial, radial and angular direction. It is easier to be in alignment when installing, and can compensate the error generated by the deformation of hull and frame after installation, so as to ensure the normal operation of diesel engine and shafting.
5 It can realize vibration reduction and isolation of solid sound and insulation current. Diesel engine equipped with damping frame, it and shafting produce relative vibration, only installed in the axial, radial, angular three aspects of the elastic ring coupling, can be installed below the host damping frame, but also can isolate solid sound, reduce noise. Because the elastic ring
coupling is made of rubber components, it has good insulation performance and can prevent axial current.
