Coupling function and type
Function: when the shaft and shaft to be connected to convey power, generally useful pulley or gear to do connection, but if the two shafts to be on the line and require constant rotation, then must use coupling to connection. Type: Couplings can generally be divided into two main categories: rigid and flexible.
Common terms for coupling
1, parallel deviation: when the two axes are connected, the amount of deviation between the two axes.
2. Angle deviation: when the two axes are connected, the deviation Angle of the two axes.
3. Axial deviation: the displacement produced by the two axes in the axial direction when the two axes are connected.
4. Torque: When a force drives an axis to rotate, the leading force multiplied by the radius of the axis is torque (force * moment arm).
